Located in Sheffield, in the centre of the UK,
Ceramisys was formed in 2001 to focus on innovative manufacturing
techniques for porous biomaterials and medical implants. Ceramisys
has developed a number of innovative products and has established
itself as an important part of the bioceramics industry by selling
globally through a network of distributors and selected own
brand private labelling of our products.
The philosophy of the company
is to manufacture innovative biomaterials and implants
of the highest quality and Ceramisys employs a total
quality management system.
We
are BSI accredited with Full Quality Assurance and
our systems are compliant with BS EN ISO 13485:2003.
All Ceramisys implants carry the CE Mark certificate
of quality (Class III).
Ceramisys' has been developing novel porous
ceramics and porous bioceramic technologies to suit a
range of applications for a number of years. Working closely
with both the Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering,
and the Dept of Mechanical Engineering, at the nearby
University of Sheffield allows Ceramisys to fully develop
it's innovative products and processes.
